I love where I would like to live
I love my signal box. Here it is close to the numerous trains rolling on the railway. Close to the controlpanel and switches my bed is placed with several books about religion, cooking and railway maintance beneath. Sometimes my friends come along and they often make jokes about the stairway to my signalbox. Our favourite passtime is to sit up on the roof of my signal box while drinking lager beer and playing Qianhong. I am the only one with a duty, therefor my participation in the games of Qianhong rarely occurs when the traffic on the railways are at it's peak during the days (and nights even). Usually my friends leave at 5 o'clock in the morning, when I am sleeping myself, but still they whisper silently that it was a fun night and they will come by another time when the rush hours are not occuring.

I love my storage silo. Somewhat big, but it is very new. My friends have complained that they can't reach the roof and perhaps I should make some kind of improvement of this silo. However, the best thing is that I can build stuff in this large structure. My current project has been making a large building out of matches. It will eventually be the actual place where I shall reside. Meanwhile I have a tent and a sleeping bag close to the entrance of the silo. According to my calculations it will take about a year to make this "structure within a structure". Some of my friends are helping me with the design and bluprints for this building. Meanwhile we are listening to songstowearpantsto.com since we love his musicianship. During the breaks we eat Jaffa Cakes and drink Ooolong tea. When my friends leave after a hard days working on my future home they tell me that it will be done the very next day. But all we have done yet is the sauna.

I love my earth sheltered home. The smell of dirt and the way it camoflage in nature makes it a nice place to hide away from the stress of my past life in the city. There are problems though, like water seeping in and often when my friends come around it happens to be water coming around too. We laugh a bit and walk around in the water in our rubbershoes. Then we go outside to play some ball in the post-raining sunshine. Usually when we are playing ball they are asking me why I don't want to come back to the city. My answer is that I find it very nice to live in a city but right now I need more time in solitude to work on my projects. That is very okay with them. As I cook some bean soup over the open fire in a pot my friends are sipping pure water in handmade claycups. They stay overnight and thank me for letting them stay over night, even though it was a bit chilly in my home.

I love my shotgun house. Never thought that it could so very comfortable. If you open up all the doors in the house you can even play badminton through it. My and my friends usually refer to this kind of playing as "Madminton". You can be several participants in this game since the badmintonball usually never flies far when you are just two people on each side of the house. Sometimes we break a lamp or two, but it is fine with me since I am making my own candles here. Sometimes I sell them to my friends, people on the street or my co-workers at the record store. People like my candles and the motives I paint on them. I'd be careful that these candles won't burn my books on I ching, theosophy and gardening. My back garden is actually my second home where the little jungle fits nicely to dwell inside during hot summerdays with a little chilled glass of awamori and a bite of an anpan.

I love my houseboat. With it I can travel from coast to coast enjoying all kinds of different people. My friends change every now and then. Usually they are people on the move too and right now I got several hundred friends all over the world who I can visit anytime, or they might visit me. Our favourite passtime is to shout sea shanties to eachother every now and then. But most of the time I spend time on land looking for new experiences wether it is art, food or anything else. During the night when I arrive to my little houseboat there are some mail waiting in my inbox on the laptop I got. Thanks to the laptop I can keep track of where I am, where I could go next and those friends who are not on the move like me. After answering the mails I work on my travelogue book about travelling with your home.

I love my passivhaus. This is very sustainable living which feels very comfortable. Together with my friends I live in a suburb consisting nearly of only 'passivhauses'. We see eachother often, since we live so close to eachother, and as the nights comes along we go inside one of the 'passivhauses' (usually mine) and sit around eating food I've cooked, discussing the changing weather and sometimes ludology or something else is sneaked into the conversation by my friends. The amount of plants in my passivhaus are increasing since they make the home looks fresh and the air is fresh and nice. It takes about 15 minutes to give them water each day and they need a chat every now and then. If they want to, my friends participate in the plant feeding and we all stand and talk to the plants. Then my friends leave as I feel quite tired about 4 o'clock in the morning. My friends tell me that they want to use my newly buildt Sauna the next day and I agree since we need some good beer and a time in that sauna.
